Mainstream gets around to Cambodia
On August 6, the story about John Kerry's repeated falsification of where he was in Christmas 1968 hit the blogosphere. Two weeks later, some of the big names in big media are finally getting around to covering this story.
First we have Michael Barone in US News.
Then we have John Leo in the same publication.
Is there a precedent in American history for the entire country being aware of a complete fabrication by a Presidential candidate, and repeated lies about the same story a full two weeks before the press finally decides to cover it? And isn't it high time the public begins to ask why?
