Navy Admiral witnessed Kerry wound himself
In a blockbuster column, Robert Novak reports that a retired Rear Admiral in the Navy was on a Boston Whaler with John Kerry on December 2, 1968, and witnessed Kerry injuring himself with a grenade launcher. This is the minor injury that Kerry used to justify requesting his first of 3 Purple Hearts. The only problem is that Kerry was not under enemy fire on that day (which agrees with information in Kerry's own diary). We now know that Kerry falsified his report about the incident, and obtained a Purple Heart he was not entitled to under Navy regulations. Had this falsification not occurred, Kerry would never have been allowed to go home, only to betray those he left behind to fight, after only 4 months of service. This Admiral is a highly credible source, and this story cannot be welcome in the Kerry camp after all that has come out already about Kerry's serial untruthfulness.
