Yet ANOTHER version of the Purple Heart story...
Captain Ed points out that the Kerry campaign has tried to respond to the discrepancy between his own war diary and the after action report that led to his first Purple Heart. But it appears that in doing so, the Kerry campaign has created even more discrepancies requiring explanation. The old adage that covering up lies requires more and more lies of greater complexity definitely applies here.
