A Deadly and Insidious attack on Freedom
Captain Ed sounds battle stations on a little-known provision of McCain-Feingold: this time they are coming after the bloggers. When free speech is squelched in the name of preventing an "unfair" advantage to politicians, it becomes official: the foxes are in charge of the henhouse. In a country where the blogs have finally exposed the mainstream media for the partisan hacks they really are; partisans who have enormous influence in favor of left-leaning politicians, we must not allow this attack on free speech to be successful. As pointed out in the Captain's post, even the left wing blogs recognize the seriousness of this. So now is the time to write your congressmen and senators--before it is too late.
