Our strengthening alliance with Japan
Who would have thought in August 1945 that Japan would one day become one of the staunchest allies of the United Staes in the world. And the alliance is getting even stronger. With China shaping up as the number one strategic threat to the United States over the next 20 years, Japan is clearly now casting its lot with the US. (hat tip to Glenn Reynolds).
