Things are going well, BUT...

Peggy Noonan reminds us that we are still vulnerable to attack; it is indeed wise to always keep this in mind. American wars are won or lost at home with public opinion--not on the battlefield--and it is important that the average citizen does not forget that we are still vulnerable. It could happen again, or worse. We must be prepared for this eventuality. And we must not allow our enemies to leverage a successful attack against us to shut down the broader momentum the US experiencing across the board in geopolitics. We must continue to support our leadership, especially in times of national crises.

UPDATE: Still, there are plenty of things to be optimistic about...
