Venezuala's Marxist President seizes Nature Preserves
One wonders if the Environmental "movement" will protest about the seizure of massive quantities of private property by Marxist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, including the country's vast wildlife preserves... my guess is they will not even raise a whimper, because "environmentalism" is really just the latest of many disguises that the world's marxist/socialist community wears. The real agenda behind the entire environmentalist movement is specifically to give government the "right" to seize private property in the name of "community" ("commune" would be more accurate...). And my guess is that the current regime could care less about the environmental consquences of this latest seizure. You won't hear a peep from the Sierra Clubs or Greenpeaces of the world: indeed this is what they are about. The only protestors of this outrage will be Venezuelan patriots who want their country back from the left-wing thug that Jimmy Carter helped to legitimize, even as Chavez stole an election that polling showed he had lost by a landslide.
