Bush's Important Latin America Trip
I think Ralph Peters has it exactly right: the President's trip to Latin America cannot be over-emphasized in its importance. It has been region which has not received the attention it should since 9/11, especially in light of Hugo Chavez' presistent anti-American cheerleading and agressive action.
Peters is also on the money as to what the drive-by media's take will be (go figure...). But regardless of what you hear in the coming days, this is a critical trip for the President and for the security of the Americas.
