How will HDTV Impact the Elections?
If you know your Presidential History, you know that everything changed during the 1960 Kennedy-Nixon debates; Nixon went into the first-ever Nationally televised debates with a lead, sweated profusely while JFK remained calm, collected, and (especially) cool... and Kennedy never looked back.
Now we are in a new revolutionary phase of visual communications--High Definition. James Joyner rightly wonders if there will be an impact. My guess is that this time around there will be--but by 2012 the impact will be much more dramatically felt. The plastic surgery epicenter of the Universe may soon be moving from Hollywood to Washington, D.C.
