Steyn reviews History of the English Speaking Peoples Since 1900
I pre-ordered Andrew Roberts' ambitious sequel to Sir Winston Churchill's 4-Volume History of the English Speaking Peoples believing that it would be worth the effort. The book has just been sitting there because I am in the middle of a couple of other books at the moment. But now that I have heard and appreciated Hugh Hewitt's 3-hour interview of the author; and now that I have read this Mark Steyn review; and now that I have learned that the President of the United States recommended the book to Steyn...well let's just say the book has now moved into the "starting lineup".
