Waxman gets Bikini-Waxed
Victoria Toensing, the person who wrote the very Intelligence Act which Valerie Plame insists made her "covert", testified yesterday that--to the contrary--Plame is anything but "covert" under the terms of that law, and therefore that no crime was committed in revealing her name to the press. Henry Waxman, the hard left chair of the Senate "Show Trial" Committee, was not a happy camper.
You can watch the fun and games here; it is simultaneously highly entertaining and extremely telling of the intellectual vacuity of theSocialist Workers Party Democrat posturing. A monumental waste of taxpayer money, media time, and the "People's" business. This is a party whose goal is not to accomplish bipartisan progres--it is solely and entirely focused on spending billions of taxpayer dollars for the sole purpose of trying to make Republicans look bad. Judging by their track record thus far, we may have an overwhelming Republican sweep in '08.
