A couple of legal notes from Jay over at Stop the ACLU (a fellow Wide Awake...):
- The Supremes are going to hear a case on whether or not requiring a photo ID to vote violates someone's Constitutional rights. A very interesting case, and its results will impact elections for years to come.
- In even better news, a Military Appeals Court has cleared the way for War Crimes trials of Gitmo detainees to begin. A big win for the Bush Administration.
