All that is necessary for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing.

News item: MoveOn.org has had its lawyers serve Cafe Press "cease and desist" letters for using its "trademark" in a parody T-Shirt. They should know better: stuff like this always backfires. It kind of reminds me of The Last Temptation of Christ: the churches went all out to try to get the movie banned--which negative publicity of course ended up drawing millions more viewers than the film otherwise would have.

MoveOn is once again demonstrating that, while it may be in touch with the pulse of the deranged nutroots on the Stalinist Left, its understanding of the American people in general still leaves a lot to be desired. The lawsuit has naturally mobilized the blogosphere as only a MoveOn.org blunder can. The above illustration is but one example, and there are many more like it over at Michelle Malkin's site (note to Cafe Press: I think Monkey Tennis is on to something--I'd buy one...).
