BREAKING: HOUSE VOTES DOWN BAILOUT
The Democrats could have voted this in without ANY Republican votes. But it did not. We nay well be in for a rocky ride, based on all the hype leading up to this vote. Fine. We will pull through whatever comes, just as our forebears did.
But no matter what the conventional wisdom and pundits are saying, it is hard for this blogger to consider the defeat of State Socialism a bad thing. And obviously the Democrats were terrified of walking the plank on this thing alone.
