China bans Buddhas' Reincarnation without first getting permission from the State
I saw this last night, but it was late and I thought I might be hallucinating or something... Nope; its real: China is putting its foot down in a big way. If you are going to die soon, and plan on reincarnating in Tibet, you had better do so before September 1... or God will just have to wait for government authorization. (I want script rights for this!)
This is a pretty good statement about state socialism: its unceasing quest to control the every movement of its citizens is now extending its reach beyond the grave to even barring the Almighty from crossing the Chinese Government; don't be surprised to see the Chinese pass similar laws for Vampires and Zombies soon.
Meanwhile, Don Surber wonders how in the world (or out of it) are the Chinese going to enforce this new law...
